Wow what a weekend!!!! This past weekend was so nice, I was able to get out of the house and do things that I have not done in a long time.
Friday night my friend Becky and I went and watched a movie at Allred Theatre. We watched a brand new release called Eagle Eye and it was an amazing movie, filled with action, and a good story line. I would recommend going to see it, you won't be diappointed. After the movie Becky went to pick up her boys, and I went home to spend the rest of the evening alone watching movies at my house, fun huh. I just thought I was going to get to relax at home, next thing I know my cousin sarah is knocking on my front door. I open my door look outside and see my boss Don with a suburban full of 17 softball girls. I ended up taking four of the girls in my car and followed Don to his house, and I hung out with the girls for a little while and then went back home and went to bed.
Saturday I went and ate lunch with Shaya, and we decided to go out Saturday night. We went to Miami for about two hours, and then we drove back to Langley and went Riggs until it closed. I didn't think I would have that much fun, but I was wrong I had a blast. It was so nice getting to hang out with Shaya again, and I'm for sure going out next Saturday w/some other friends as well.
As for Matt and I we are still talking and I am still hoping that everything works out for us. Being broken up has helped me to realize how much I miss doing the things I used to do, and also go out and do things I am scared to do. Things can only get better from here.
Well I have to get back to work. See ya

Finally, Finally, Finally Moved In
That's right I am finally moved into the rent house. It is such a relief to finally be moved in to the house, I am so much closer to everything. There are still a few little things being done to the house, and Matt is trying to finish up all the electrical work. This house has given him so many problems. It is such an old house, and all of the wiring in it is not very good at all so he has been working his tail off trying to get it all fixed and safe for me to be there. My first night there wasn't that bad. I have never ever been by myself, so being in a new place with new sounds kind of scared me a little, but I'm starting to get over it and really starting to enjoy being there. I might posts some pics of the place as soon as I get some time, but for now I need to get back to work. See ya

The Fourth of July
I know the title says the fourth of july but we actually took the boat out on Hudson lake tonight to watch the fireworks display that Camp Dry Gulch puts on every year, and I have to say that I am still amazed by the show they put on. Every year it is amazing to see all the fireworks and all of the people that attend this show. Tommorrow night, the Fourth of July, we are also going out there again, but this time we will have a boat full of people, mostly younger ones, so it will be fun to see their reactions to the fireworks. Now on to more fun stuff that has been happening.
MY HOUSE
I have finally started moving some of my stuff in, but there is still some electrical work that has to be done in the kitchen, and the outside is going to need lots of TLC. It is still a working progress, but by the end of next weekend I should be settled and enjoying my house. By the way if anyone rents movies as much as my family does I would suggest joining netflix. I joined it a couple of weeks ago, and I have to admit that I love it.
I know it's been awhile since I have written on here, but just to let everyone know, Matt made it home safely from Canada. I'm pretty sure now that he is back home and back in the same routine, he can not wait to go back to Canada. I'm glad he is home though, I didn't realize how much I had missed him until I saw him his first night back.
Well I need to get to bed, I have a long day ahead of me tommorrow
I hope everyone has a Wonderful and Safe Fourth of July

Passing the Time
Today is Friday June 13th, and I am so happy to say that Matt will be returning home on Monday. To be quite honest it has not been that bad with him gone. My family has been keeping me pretty busy so I haven't really had time to think about Matt being gone, but when I do think about him I'm ready for him to come back home.
Now moving on to a better note. Last night I attended the first night of Country Fever 2008, and I have to say that it was probably one of the best concerts I have ever beent to. My Father, youngest sister and I all went. We didn't go until about 8:00pm to watch Joe Nichols who opened for Sugarland. Joe Nichols did alright, but the best part of the night was watching Sugarland perform, they were incredible, there are no words to describe the show the put on last night. If you like country music, you should try to go to one of their concerts you will be blown away by their performance. Tonight Gretchen Wilson it going to open up for Dierks Bentley so I'm sure it will be another night packed with great performances, so I better quit blogging and start getting ready. See ya Later

It's Been Awhile
I'm so sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything on here. I'm not very good at keeping up with this blogger am I? I'll try to catch everyone up on what I have been up to, but to be quite honest my life hasn't changed much since the lost post.
Work
It's so hard to believe that this month I will have been at my job for a whole year. I guess when you love your job time just flies by. We still have not hired anyone to replace Stephanie, but Dr. Peters daughters are in there helping out everyday, so it makes life a little easier and less stressful.
Rent House
It has been so hard being patient about the remodeling of the rent house I am getting ready to move into. They finally laid carpet and tile down the other day, everything is starting to fall into place so I should be moving within the next week or so. I am very excited about moving, I have been stuck in my parents house for the last year and a half. Let me tell you all something once you have been out of your parents house for a couple years, it is so hard moving back in with them, it's like all your privacy and freedom is gone. It is very hard to get used to. So getting back out on my own will be a very nice treat.
Boyfriend
These last three weeks have been very crazy for Matt and I. Matt's best friend Scott came in from Iraq on leave about two weeks ago, so Matt and I spent most of our time over at Scott and Tanya's house playing Spades and Domino's, basically just spending as much time with Scott as we could. Scott shipped back out to Iraq on Monday 6/2/08 for another three months over there, then has should be home for good after that. I felt so bad for Scott's wife, Tanya, and their little three year old girl, Emma. The night before he left we were over there and Emma didn't want to go to bed because she didn't want her daddy to leave the next day, Scott had to try to explain to Emma that he would be back in three months. It was very sad. Now as of this week Matt is leaving today for Canada on his yearly fishing trip and will not be back until the 16th of June, so I get to spend 10 days without him. We have been dating for five months and spend most of our time together so ten days without is going to be kinda of tough on me, but I think I'll manage. In the end it will be better for us to see how well we do apart from each other.
Well I think I have written enough, I hope this helps on catching everyone up on whats going on in my life, and I will try to post more in a week or so.

By Myself Again
This past week into this week has been kind of hectic. As all of you know I work at Peter's Family Chiropractic Center and I have been working there since June '07. I think it was around November we hired one woman to give me a little help up here at the front desk, between paper work and taking x-rays it's gets a little tough to manage all of it and remember everything, she was doing alright, but towards the end of her probation period it just wasn't working out. I was doing twice the work I was doing before she came a long because I was constantly having to go behind her and fix things that she did wrong....I know not her fault because she was new but still it was very stressful. So January, Febuary, and the first week of March go by still working up at the front by myself and trying to manage everything. Then one day this young woman, about my age, walks through the door. We weren't really looking for anyone to hire at the moment, because I was doing pretty good managing all of it, but the Doctor and I both knew it would be nice to have someone to do the little tedious things. This young woman filled out an application, spoke to us for a little while, and left her resume. We were very impressed with her, and were both ready to give her a call to come back and try out working with us. Stephanie started working with us around middle March, it took alot of the little work off of my shoulders so I could focus on other things that needed to be done. Around the end of March Stephanie got married, and three weeks later found out they were expecting. Along with all of that exciting news stephanie had recieved, she was having issues with her 2 yearolds daycare, so we all decided it would be for the best for her to stay home with her daughter and the one on the way. So here we are beginning of April, and I am by myself again.
Eventually we will hire somebody but I think for the time being we are doing alright with just the doctor and I. We will see, hopfully we will get busier and have to hire somebody.
Hope everyone has a good week and weekend. Love Laura

Long Weekend
This last weekend was a very long weekend for me
Friday
First of all on friday I was so glad it was friday until Matt told me he was spending his whole weekend helping a friend build a fence. That news right there kind of bummed me out because I knew then that I probably wouldn't get to see him all weekend. So friday night I spent at my parents house for a change, which was alright, I got to catch up on reading, and hanging out Samantha, my youngest sister.
Saturday
I got to sleep in mmmmm..... after sleeping until about 10:ooam I got up and did some laundry and more reading, then I went to Pryor to go tan, and check on the rent house they are about done fixing up for me yah!! Then I went pre-bowled for sunday night league. On my way home after that exciting trip to pryor I decided to stop by my Aunt Stacey's house and see what all of them were up to. I ended up stayin there most the night thinking we were going to play cards, around ten o'clock we all decided we were to tired to do anything so I went back to my parents and went to bed, and I was missing matt like crazy, needless to say it was a restless night.
Sunday
I slept in a little bit longer than I did Saturday, then Samantha and I got up did laundry and watched movies most the day until dinner time, then we went over to my Aunt Stacey's house and ate a tremendous meal prepared by my uncle James, it was really good. After we ate I sat around my aunts house with all of them and watched more movies.
Finally Matt called around 8:00pm so I went over there to see him. This was the first real weekend in a month that Matt and I had not been with each other all weekend. It was kind of hard being away from him, but I think I handled it really well, the real test comes in June when Matt leaves for his fishing trip in Canada for almost two weeks, now thats going to be hard. I'll keep you all posted on that dilema lol.
