Some things to think about

Some things to think about

Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. William Shakespeare

Have you ever meet somebody you know is a leader, somebody who in the presence of you feel the power and strength and you just know they are going to do great things, those type of people are born great. Then you have those who come from nothing, those who work so hard to achieve a dream so far out of their reach, but they achieve it and do great things. Those are the ones who achieve greatness. Now you have those that have to learn to achieve greatness, those that have never cared much to be great, but now have to prove to people that they can do it. Those are the ones that have greatness thrust upon them. We see this type of thing in our day to day life. By this theory anyone can achieve greatness, you just have to want to be great.

Love is not love that alters when it alteration finds. William Shakespeare

I've heard this quote many times, but I have never quite understood what it means until recently. Love is love and no matter what a couple goes through its always going to be love in the end, it doesn't alter for anyone Love is love.

The course of true love never did run smooth. William Shakespeare

I have been around many married couples and young couples to know enough of what Shakespeare mean't by this saying. Even the happiest couples have their ups and downs. If you ask a couple that has been married for over 50 years they will tell you that it is the ups and downs that make them stronger. True love will always have it's ups and downs, but it is the strength and faith that you have in your love for each other that will make it work.

There is a tide in the affairs of men, Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures. William Shakespeare

According to Shakespeare our lives are one big sea full of misery, pain, betrayal, and disdain. It is only when we take the chances that the current brings us to find our happiness in life. When we don't take those chances we are stuck with regret and loss of what could have been.

Have you ever had a really rough day? Those are always the longest days, so I guess Shakespeare has it right when he says that "Time and the hour run through the roughest day." William Shakespeare

The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places.
Ernest Hemingway

Have you ever been so broken by something or someone that you feel you just can't move on? Sooner or later you move on whether you want to or not. The world does not stand still for our losses, grief, or pain. It is up to you to come out of it a stronger person, if you don't find the strength to move on the little things in your world can and will destroy you.

Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another. Ernest Hemingway

Everyone leaves something behind when they die, it's what you left behind that people will remember you by. So leave your mark on the world, leave a great legacy behind. Make sure when you are remembered it's because you did something great, something selfless, something that is worth remembering.

I hope you enjoyed this. Have a good day.
